Angels are immortal

Angels live forever.

Once created, they never cease to exist.

This is confirmed in the Scriptures which clearly states that angels are not subject to death ((Luke 20:36  "and they can no longer die; for they are like the angels") 


Further weight is added to this argument by further Biblical references to the immortality of angels. In Daniel 9, the angel Gabriel appeared to the prophet Daniel. 


Then more than 500 years later, this same unaged Gabriel appeared to Zechariah, the father of John the Baptist. 


Since angels are immortal and since they do not marry nor have baby angels (Mathew 22:30 At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven)  - the numbers of angels in existence will always be the same.

Angel road signs help save sick child.

In the 1990s, Marlene Wiechman, of West Point, Nebraska, was traveling with her family and firmly believes that angels helped when her then 6-year-old daughter's health took a  turn for the worse.

 The child had had a stroke when seven months old and this had left her partially handicapped.

Whilst on vacation Emily suddenly fell ill.

Mrs Wiechman said: " We'd been on vacation with my parents to Yellowstone National Park. On the way home, driving through Wyoming,  Emily said she wasn't feeling well. She started vomiting, and her eyes weren't focusing. We needed to get her to hospital, but the nearest town Rock Springs, was 70 miles away.

"Emily kept getting worse, and as we approached Rock Springs, I prayed we would find help quickly. Just then we saw a blue and white hospital sign. There were three or four more signs that led us straight to the emergency room."

A doctor at the hospital was able to quickly diagnose that Emily was having a seizure and was able to stablise her with anti-convulsants. When the crisis was over, Mrs Wiechman mentioned to the doctor that the signs had been a lifesaver.

Mrs Wiechman explained "The doctor looked at me and said, "What signs?" He said he traveled that road every day, and there were no hospital signs. But all four adults in our van had seen them. We went back and looked again. They were gone. I called someone at the chamber of commerce, who said there had never been any hospital signs on that route. I believe to this day they were put their by the angels to help save Emily's life."

Angel Lights, what are they?

Today we're talking about other ways in which we can see angels, which includes:

Angel lights.

Seeing sparkles or bright flashes of light floating in the air around you can indicate that angels are nearby. 

What’s happening is you are witnessing the energy sparks as the angels move across your field of vision. This effect is similar to seeing sparks coming from the back of a car that has just hit a speed bump. It’s simply caused by friction, and it means that your spiritual sight is adjusted to viewing energy waves.

Any coloured sparks you see may originate from archangels (and their associated auras) and glowing white lights are the evidence of the presence of other angels.

Many people report seeing these type of sparkles and light flashes on a regular basis. But some people are reluctant to admit to this angelic phenomena for fear that others may think they are hallucinating. They're not of course. Seeing angel light is a very real - and normal experience.

Coloured mists: Seeing a green, purple, or other coloured mist is a sign that you’re in the presence of angels and archangels.

Former FBI employee 'saw angels guarding Flight 93 site after deadly crash on 9/11'

A former FBI employee sent to the Flight 93 crash site on September 11, 2001 has said she saw a legion of angels guarding the scene when she arrived.

Lillie Leonardi has revealed details of the sighting in a  book she has written following her retirement from the FBI due to post-traumatic stress disorder which began after the terror attacks.

Ms Leonardi, in her book 'In the Shadow of a Badge' said she arrived at the still-smouldering scene just three hours after it crashed into a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. 

She writes: 'I noticed a white mist had begun to take shape. It moved and swirled in patterns of spectacular white light.

'All at once, the mist took full shape and I saw what appeared to be angels. There were angels standing in the open area to the left of the crash site.

'There were hundreds of them standing in columns. There was a field of angels emerging from the realms of the mist. They were Archangels with their wings arched up toward the sky.'

She said: 'And I didn't say anything to the guys because you can imagine if I would have said, "I just saw angels on the crash site," they'd have called the office and they'd have said, "She lost her mind and tell her to go home".'

But she added that she saw more than just the shapes inside the mist. She, and two men with her, spotted a Bible from the plane that had been barely singed.

'All of a sudden this huge wind came out of nowhere and flipped that Bible open and I remember it flipped open to Psalm 23, "The Lord is my shepherd…" 

She added: 'The biggest thing for me is that that there were no bodies. I'm used to crime scenes but this one blew me out of the water. It just looked like the ground had swallowed up' the plane.

Ms Leonardi, now 56, kept the angel vision to herself for two years but as her PTSD began to take control, she told close friends what she had seen.

Kenneth McCabe, her former supervisor, said he had no reason to doubt her story.

'I believe her,' he told The Associated Press. 'I know she believes 100 per cent that's what she saw. I know she's a sane person so I'm not going to discount what she says she saw.'

The Reverand Ron Lengwin, spokesman for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh, said that MS Leonardi is a personal friend and he said he also supported her claims.

He said 'I have no reason to believe that she did not see angels,'  'It's not surprising to me that God could choose to say that he was present there to give comfort to people, and to give comfort to the people who were there to give comfort to other people.'

Ms Leonardi said she wanted to write about her vision more than 10 years after the crash in order to bring comfort to others affected by the attack or post-traumatic stress disorder.

She said: 'The purpose of the book is to tell the story of the angels being there so that other people understand that God was there,' she said.

More about angel dreams

One of the most commented on articles on Angel Reach is a post that I wrote some time ago entitled 'What does it mean to dream of angels?

Many visitors  after reading the posting  have taken the time to share their own dream experiences of angels via the comments box.

 Some of the angel dreams reported have left the dreamer puzzled, and some of the dreams have brought comfort.

I often think we dream about angels when there is a spiritual emptiness in our lives, or we are needing some special guidance and help for a particular difficulty in our life. The angels respond to this need by reaching out to us in our dreams when we are our most relaxed and we more  likely to be receptive to their messages.

And there will be a' hidden message' in your angel dream if you look for it. And it could be a lot simpler than you think too, as angels want to help us and they don't tend to be cryptic.

Whilst writing on the subject, I thought I'd share with you details of some research I've read by Dr Ian Stevenson of the University of Virginia - who has catalogued thousands of cases of 'dream visitations' in which people interacted with their departed loved ones or angels while asleep.

Dr Stevenson said that the 'degree of vividness' is the characteristic that distinguishes mere dreams from true visitations.

Visitations include rich colours, intense emotions, and a more-than-real feeling. When you wake up from one, the experience stays with you longer than an ordinary dream. You may remember explicit details of the dream many years after it occurs.

So should you experience this type of dream, then you can consider yourself blessed that the angels have visited you to deliver you a message of hope whilst you sleep. Write the dream down whilst it's fresh in your mind and work with it until you truly understand the angelic wisdom that will be wrapped up in it.

What is the difference between spirit guides and angels?

People often ask me what the difference is between a spirit guide and an angel.

A spirit guide is thought to be the evolved spirit of someone who has passed from the earth plane and returns  again to help human beings on their life's journey.

Some spirit guides are highly evolved as they have reincarnated many thousands of times. And as a result they have achieved great wisdom which they pass on to help us grow and develop spiritually.
